Why logo designing is important for a company?
According to a study if a company wants to develop trust and loyalty then it should have a good impression among the customers. So, the logo design of a company develops such trust and makes an impression which draws people’s attention.
A logo design depicts an identity of the company and it also should represent what that company does. For instance, we all know the paramount pictures logo which has two symbols depicting stars and a mountain. The stars represent the 24 actors who signed the contract in 1914. Likewise, there should be something unique about your company’s logo design.
Types Of Logo Design :
There are three main categories and eight subcategories. If you ask a logo designer to design a logo for your company you must choose one type from the main category. The main types are:
- Logotype or Wordmark
- An icon or symbol mark
- Combination mark
- Logotype or wordmark type.
In this type, the logo design is designed with letters or words representing the brand.
Some of the wordmark type famous logos are IBM, SONY and coco-cola etc. when you see the logo design you only think of service they provide or your favourite cool drinks that make you happy and not as a billionaire company.
- An icon or symbol mark type
Here pictures or images are used as a logo design. People will guess your brand name seeing this type of logos. For example, Apple and Microsoft windows.
- Combination mark type
It is the combination of both wordmark type and symbol mark type. The emblem type logo design is so important. Example, KFC, Adidas and Jaguar etc. the logo design is incomplete if you separate the symbols and words. Now if you take the wordings from a certain logo design like star bucks it will be difficult to recognize.

Step 1: Logo design brief
The first step in designing a logo is having a brief discussion with the customer/client regarding the logo design. The designer must gather information about the background of the company. And the designer should also learn when and where the logo will be used. A logo that will be used on a business card has less information than that of the logo used on a billboard. So collect details about the company beyond the client’s opinion and also learn more about the company’s customers.

Why we need to analyze the larger community in population is in some Islamic countries the thumbs-up symbol is considered as a rude sexual sign whereas in some countries it is used as a positive symbol. Thus, it is better to take some time after sketching designs digitally to analyze the perfect logo.
Step 6: feedback
So, after refining logos, you will have only a few options to select. now you will show the logo designs to the client to consider their opinion. Usually, logo design projects are shown to the clients with a written description which explains your logo efficiently. The client will choose a logo and they will give some feedback. With this feedback, you can modulate the selected logo to customize. The modulated logo is again presented to the client and there will be a series of revisions until the client is satisfied.
Step 7: the final product
Once the client is satisfied with the logo design. The designer will create a variety of file types like TIF, JPEG, SVG and EPS.
